Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most commonly diagnosed oncological diseases in the male population of Russia. So, prostate cancer ranks third (11% of the total) in the structure of the primary incidence of malignant neoplasms. In the period from 2000 to 2010. a high rate of increase in the incidence of prostate cancer was noted – an average of 9.83% per year.
